IFC World Bank
Transforming Finance, Empowering India: IFC in Mumbai.
We are proud to have designed the headquarters of IFC World Bank in Mumbai BKC, the financial capital of India.
Our goal was to create a distinctive and original design that stands out while remaining fully aligned with IFC’s global guidelines. The result is a space that blends creativity and functionality, reflecting both the organization's values and the dynamic energy of Mumbai.
For the client area, we used elegant white marble cladding to keep the space bright and welcoming. The rest of the office is built around neutral materials like white oak veneer, acoustic boards, and lacquered glass in gradients of warm grey tones, ensuring a harmonious and calm atmosphere throughout. To add energy to the space, we introduced blue and mustard-colored accents in the furniture, reflecting IFC’s brand identity.
The workstations are strategically placed along the expansive glazing, allowing natural light to flood the area. Each workstation is meticulously customized to ensure optimal comfort and functionality, providing a work environment that supports both productivity and well-being.
The private cabins are placed toward the center of the office and are finished with warm, cozy materials to create a peaceful personal space.
The cafeteria, designed as an extension of the workspace, encourages employees to use it throughout the day, supporting both relaxation and interaction.
The office features innovative collaboration islands equipped with the latest technologies and fixtures to support seamless teamwork and communication. These hubs are designed to foster creativity and collaboration, offering employees a modern, flexible environment to work together effectively.
This design combines modern style with comfort, creating a space that enhances productivity and collaboration while meeting IFC World Bank’s global standards.
